Burton Hall - Through the Eyes of The Gopher
Burton Hall, the University of Minnesota's first library building, has
been an important focal point throughout years of student life. Not only the
library, Burton once housed the administration center, and served as the
assembly hall and university chapel. Representations of Burton Hall, both
photographs and artistic interpretations, are plentiful within the pages of
the student yearbook "The Gopher."
