Personified throughout the ages, different visions of Grammar appear in multiple mediums and in a wide variety of locations. The earliest known Grammar abides in the ink lines of a drawing dated to the beginning of the tenth century. The image of Grammar shown here (at right) derives from a sculpture at the Münster of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. The Grammar as Teacher Tour discovers various representations of this member of the curriculum.
